Oxidising Patina
Use to activate Rust or Verdigris bases.
Can be applied to Imitation Gold Leaf, Copper Leaf, bronze, brass or copper objects to create genuine antique metal finishes.

Water Wax
Water-based beeswax and carnauba wax furniture polish.
Use exactly as traditional solvent based wax polishes.
Dries hard and clear, buffs to high gloss sheen.
May be removed with water whilst still wet or damp.
Upon full drying becomes water insoluble.

Beeswax Polish (Clear)
Traditional beeswax and carnauba wax polish for timber, plaster, walls and paint finishes.
Dries hard and clear, buffs to high gloss sheen.
Natural finish with pleasent classic pine odour.
Thin and remove with Artists’ White Spirit.

Liming Wax
White pigmented wax polish for furniture and frames.
Gives a classic bleached finish to timbers.
Apply sparingly with a soft cloth and after liming wax has filled grain, buff to soft satin sheen.
Thin and remove with Artists’ White Spirit.

Black Wax
Deep black patinating wax polish for application to timber, plaster, walls, paint finishes and metal leaf.
Apply with cloth till desired colour is achieved then buff with soft cloth to soft satin sheen.
Thin and remove with Artists’ White Spirit.

Antique Wax
Warm brown patinating wax polish for application to walls, timber, plaster, paint finishes and metal leaf.
Apply with cloth till desired colour is achieved then buff with soft cloth to soft satin sheen.
Thin and remove with Artists’ White Spirit.

Antique Varnish
Rapid drying oil based varnish applied to surfaces to give the warm patina of age.Apply with brush or roller till desired colour is achieved. Dries in two hours.
Very hard wearing varnish with gloss finish.

Asphaltum
Pure liquid asphaltum for adding to oil based varnishes to create antique patinas with warmth and depth.
May also be used in printmaking for acid-bath resists.
Thin and remove with Artists’ White Spirit.

Cracking Medium
To be used with acrylics or water based emulsions.
Result gives an imitation cracked aged paint surface.

Crackle Varnish
